OUR BELIEFS
Inspire Church accepts the Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining unity, adopts these Statements of fundamental faith, truths and doctrine:
HOLY BIBLE
The Holy Bible and only the Bible is the authoritative word of God. It is the final authority in delivering all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible, and irreverent.

GOD
The scriptures give us the revelation of the eternal Godhead, who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible in essence; co-eternal, co-existed, co-equal in nature, attributes, power and glory. There is but one Godhead, who is one undivided and indivisible essence, and in this one essence, there are three internal distinctions, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST
Scripture records that Jesus Christ is the eternal son of God who always existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit. By His incarnation, He took upon Himself the form of man and became the God man. In the one person of Christ, there are two natures – divine and human, each in its completeness and integrity. They are distinguishable but indivisible, so that He is fully man and fully God. It is this sinless union of the divine and human natures which qualifies Him to be the only sacrificial mediator between God and man. He rose from the dead on the third day according to scripture, ascended to the right hand of the father, and will return again in power and glory.

HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the third divine person of the eternal Godhead, co-equal, co-eternal, and co-existed with the Father and the Son. It is His ministry to convict and convert man as well as to reveal the Son and the Father to the believers. Since the glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit in all His glorious operations is working through all who believe in the Father through the Son. This is why the present dispensation is known as the age of the Holy Spirit.
VIRGIN BIRTH
Jesus Christ was conceived by God the father through the Holy Spirit in the Virgin Mary’s womb; therefore, He is the son of God.

MAN, HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION
Man was created in the image of God, for God said, “let us make man in our image, after our likeness” but man by voluntary transgression fell to sin. His only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the son of God.

THE SALVATION MAN
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus became sin providing salvation for all mankind, (Psalm 103:3), being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through Faith. “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart – that is the word of Faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

a) Evidence of Salvation
The inward evidence to the believer of this salvation is the direct witness of the spirit – Romans 8:16. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
b) Faith & Works
Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works. However, our works will determine the rewards we receive in eternity.

PROMISE OF THE PRAYER
All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father which is the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience for all in the early Christian church. With it came the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts, and their uses in the work of the ministry.

This wonderful experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of new birth.

SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God

The Scriptures teach a life of “holiness without which no man shall see the Lord”- Hebrews 12:14. By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command: “be ye holy, for I am holy”
THE CHURCH
The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with the divine appointment for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Holy Spirit, is an integral part of the church of the first born.

DEVINE HEALING
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Redemption, and is a right for all believers.

TITHES AND OFFERING
Each member is expected to embrace the scriptural truth of tithing and giving to the church of his or her income for the support of the church and the propagation of the gospel and to practice the same consistently.

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God to all believers, Matthew 3:11. It is accompanied by speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance as the initial physical sign and evidence.

WATER BAPTISM
Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and is your public declaration that you have accepted Him as your personal savior. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. While baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

COMMUNION
Communion or the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember his sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of bread and wine (or grape juice) are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. Communion is not a means of salvation, rather it’s a testament of a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross.

MARRIAGE
Christian Marriage: Marriage was established by God in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:18, 21-25) and confirmed by Jesus Christ to be a permanent relationship solely between one man as husband and one woman as wife (Matthew 19:4-6). Because marriage is not only a commitment to a spouse, but also to God (Genesis 2:24; Mark 10:9; Ephesians 5:31), a believer should marry another believer (II Corinthians 6:14). A Christian marriage is a reflection of the love, purity, and permanence between Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:23-33).
